3rd Annual Bluegrass BBQ

Start your weekend early by joining us on Friday, June 14th, for our 3rd Annual Bluegrass Barbecue.  Just 35 minutes outside of Louisville, this year's event will be held at the Faul Family Riverside Farm which is a 100 acre working and sustainable farm that practices regenerative agriculture located in Henry County, Kentucky. 

This is a multi-county hosted event that brings together constituents from across the Commonwealth to mix and mingle and build comraderie and provides attendees the opportunity to meet with the regional candidates for the Nov. 2024 election.  

Our keynote speaker for this year is Mr. Tim Abrams.  Mr. Abrams is the current executive director for the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association.  Mr. Abrams will talk about the future of public schools and teachers and discuss the amendment that will be on the November ballot regarding school vouchers.

Ticket price includes admission to the event where we will dine in the renovated and stunning 1880's barn and enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner provided by Oldham county's Bully Barbeque.   A vegan option is available for those who make a special request in the comment section during ticket checkout.  Lemonade and iced tea will be provided with the meal.  

New  for this year... each adult ticket purchase will get you entered into a free drawing for door prizes!!

Rowlett's Creamery, LLC. will be on site selling their homemade icecream to anyone wishing to satisfy a sweet tooth and they will also have some of their other dairy products available for purchase.

A special music performance will be provided by local Henry countian, Joe Clark, who recently won Album of the Year by The Appalachian Arts and Entertainment Awards!!   

This is a family friendly event with plenty of open space for kids to run around and a bounce house will be set up adjacent to the barn.   We look forward to sharing an evening of great food, entertainment, and fellowship.
